GARLIC PARMESAN MUSHROOMS

Garlic Parmesan mushrooms are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish. Here's a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (about 450g) mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the cleaned mushrooms in a large bowl. If the mushrooms are large, you can cut them into halves or quarters.

  3. In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. Pour the garlic-infused olive oil over the mushrooms in the bowl. Toss the mushrooms to coat them evenly with the garlic oil.

  5. Spread the mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the mushrooms.

  7. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the Parmesan cheese is golden brown.

  9. Remove the mushrooms from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for a burst of freshness.

  10. Serve the garlic Parmesan mushrooms as a side dish or appetizer. They pair well with grilled meats, pasta, or as a topping for bruschetta.
