GARLIC PARMESAN MUSHROOMS
Garlic Parmesan mushrooms are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish. Here's a simple recipe for you:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (about 450g) mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the cleaned mushrooms in a large bowl. If the mushrooms are large, you can cut them into halves or quarters.
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour the garlic-infused olive oil over the mushrooms in the bowl. Toss the mushrooms to coat them evenly with the garlic oil.
Spread the mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the mushrooms.
Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the Parmesan cheese is golden brown.
Remove the mushrooms from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for a burst of freshness.
Serve the garlic Parmesan mushrooms as a side dish or appetizer. They pair well with grilled meats, pasta, or as a topping for bruschetta.
Feel free to customize the recipe by adding other herbs or spices to suit your taste. Enjoy your delicious garlic Parmesan mushrooms!
