Classic Beef Tacos
Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup water
For the Tacos:
- 8 small taco shells or tortillas (corn or flour)
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Salsa
- Sour cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges
Instructions:
Cook Beef Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Aromatics: Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
Seasoning: Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
Add Water: Pour in the water and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the mixture to thicken slightly.
Prepare Toppings: While the beef is simmering, prepare your desired toppings—shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, chopped cilantro, and lime wedges.

- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Salsa
- Sour cream

Instructions:
